What features are included with the Envoy Elite 2 Audio Bible?

The Envoy 2 Elite is the most sophisticated and advanced of all the MegaVoice solar audio Bibles. They include recorder, FM radio, flashlight, microSD card reader, and audio playback speed control all on a secure 8GB audio player. The battery is solar powered.

This unit comes fully loaded with an audio player, audio recorder, FM radio, LED flashlight, audio playback speed control, intuitive navigational keypad, microSD card reader, 8GB internal memory, onboard speaker, 3.5mm stereo audio jack, 390mAh internal Li-Ion battery, and a lanyard hole.

At the press of a button, it can record audio onto an inserted microSD card. Recorded content can then be easily transferred to a computer where it can be edited, processed and copied for sharing.

Launch FM radio reception with a two-second button press. The solar powered radio is not only ideal for receiving local radio stations, but could suddenly become a source of life saving information when a natural disaster strikes. You can bookmark up to five favorite stations.

Whether you send this audio Bible player abroad or use it at home, the bright LED flashlight provides three levels of illumination to scatter the darkness. Like the FM radio, the LED flashlight could suddenly become a life saving instrument if power goes off during a storm or other emergency.

The variable speed playback feature is appreciated by blind and visually impaired people who prefer listening at a faster than normal speed. Selecting a slower speed is helpful for those learning a new language or listening to content not in their language.

With 8GB of internal memory and a microSD card reader, this player has virtually unlimited memory capacity. Navigation of large or small amounts of audio content has to be quick and easy, so it includes an intuitive, navigational keypad.

Each player comes equipped with an onboard speaker (for small group listening) and a 3.5mm stereo audio port (for earbuds, headphones, an external speaker or even a Bluetooth transmitter).

The solar panel, included with each player, charges the internal Li-Ion battery making the players ideal for areas of the world where electricity is unavailable or unreliable. For those with access to electrical power, the Envoy 2 Elite can also be charged via their micro USB port using an external power supply or a computer. Activating the battery reader feature will show how much battery charge is left. The LED light will blink green, yellow or red depending on the level of battery charge remaining.

Each player is small, lightweight, and heat resistant up to 150 degrees. Used in challenging environments all over the world, MegaVoice audio players are renowned for in-field durability. Enhanced water resistance is a new addition to each player, allowing safe use in wetter areas.

How Do I Charge My Envoy 2 Elite Audio Bible?

With proper care, the player’s Lithium-Ion battery should perform well for several years. When shipped, the battery is only partially charged. You can easily charge the player using one of the methods below:

External Power Supply
For fastest charge, connect any standard “USB” charger (regulated +5VDC, minimum 300mA) to the micro-USB port on the player for about 2 hours (or until the LED stops blinking). While charging, the LED will blink.

Computer
Plug the player into any standard computer USB port using a “USB to micro-USB” cable for about 4 hours or until the LED stops blinking. Any MegaVoice SLS, regular or charge-only cable is sufficient.

Solar Panel
For solar charging, place the player with the solar panel directly facing sunlight for 8 – 10 hours. Note, the LED light does not blink or show charging level when charging with the solar panel.
