The four evangelists adorned the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany (Orange, NJ), two on either side of the altar, while “Easter Morning” depicting Jesus after his resurrection graced the church’s nave. The rich, multicolored images display Tiffany’s imaginative techniques: layered glass, drapery glass, Favrile glass, and mottled glass. Combined with the ever-changing movement of light through the glass, in some places four layers thick, each image creates a brilliance and beauty unique to itself.
