Fabric Nativity - Uganda
The Fabric Nativity is made in Uganda by a craftswoman with disabilities. She makes creative Nativity products using local and colorful kitenge fabrics. With the work she creates, she provides for her family and helps her neighbors. Her creations are colorful, unique, and express Christmas from a Ugandan cultural perspective. When you open the box to reveal the pieces, you can smell the wood fibers. Included in this set are the three kings, Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus in a cradle, two animals, and a unique 9.5" L × 9" W × 2.5" D storage box. Each is a one of a kind.
Size and Weight
Each piece is 2" wide or less and between .75" and 5.5" tall. The set in the box weighs .5 lbs. This Nativity set is made from wood, metal, and fabric.
