Each is handcrafted from new and vintage quilts (so the fabric will always be different). These one of a kind comfort crosses are hand stitched using fabrics and quilts and are each artistically embellished to preserve the stiches and stories of their past. You are made in the likeness of God. Unique, woven, created. It is from this foundation that each comfort cross is handmade. The artist begins with you in mind: combining new, vintage and antique textiles; color harmony; and thoughtful, inspired design. Each comfort cross is prayerfully sewn and stitched, creating a comfortable piece of art, just for you. Also, the crosses are slightly weighted and give additional comfort in your hand as you hold the cross.

This cross is a "Be Still" design and is a reminder to remain quiet in times. On the backside is the scripture, Psalm 46:10 - Be still and know that I am God. As with all of the artist's crosses, the cross is unique and handcrafted from antique quilts.

Pricing is for one handmade cross. Because each piece is handmade, no two are exactly alike. Every piece is unique. Crosses are neatly packaged in their own gift bag along with a Prayer and a Care Instructions Card, an Original Edition number tag, and signed by the artist, Spring Renee. These crosses were specially made for the Museum of the Bible and include our logo on the back.

Size and Weight

Due to the cross being handmade, crosses may vary in size slightly. Crosses measure approximately 4.5" W × 6.5" H × .75" D and weigh 5.64 oz.

Care Instructions

Your Comfort Cross™ is handmade and prayerfully stitched just for you. Designed to age gracefully, just like the best of relationships, it grows more comforting the more you care for it. Because it uses repurposed materials, you may notice ‘love marks.’ Please care for them as Christ tends to our needs.

Don’t overheat your Comfort Cross™ or yourself.
Don’t store in the freezer.
Do share your Comfort Cross™ with others.
Do protect from moisture.
Don’t forget you are loved.
Do spot clean and air dry as needed.
Don’t get wet.

Warming Your Weighted Comfort Cross™

Microwave in 30-second intervals, up to a maximum of 2 minutes.
Test the heat every 30 seconds as microwave power varies.
Ensure your Comfort Cross™ doesn’t touch the sides of the microwave to prevent scorching.
Re-warm in 30-second intervals as needed.
Be mindful of embellishments while heating.

Chilling Your Weighted Comfort Cross™

Place in a sealed plastic bag and freeze for 15 minutes.

Enjoy the cooling sensation, and always protect your skin from extreme cold.
