About Olive Wood

This beautiful wood comes from olive trees, the type grown in Gethsemane and around Jerusalem where Jesus walked. Every two years the olive trees are pruned so the trees bear fruit. These beautiful pieces are made from these pruned branches by craftsman living in Bethlehem.
